Alfie - Lakeland Russell

Description

Alfie is a fully intact terrier, we have owned him since 7 weeks old and still keep in touch with his breeder. He is great in the house can leave him 4/5 hours with no accidents. He loves a cuddle and loves to sleep at the bottom of the bed.

Alfie would be suited to an only dog home with children aged 8+. Alfie has become jealous of my youngest son and has now been living in an outdoor kennel for the past 3/4 months with the hopes that the jealousy would subside but he still continues to growl and bare his teeth when he is anywhere near him. We have tried every method so it wouldn’t have to come to selling but we feel that this now is our only option.

Alfie can bark at strangers and anyone who will come near your property unannounced, he will quickly quieten down once he knows they are not a threat to you or anyone near you. He is a very protective, loving and energetic dog that I really don’t want to see go but I need to put my child’s safety first. He is absolutely fine with my eldest daughter who has Down’s syndrome, they play a lot and he cuddles up on her knee.

Alfie will not be sold to just anyone, I would like to meet potential new owners first and I absolutely would love to stay in contact with whoever buys him as he is a much loved dog in our family.
