The All new Dark Horse is the European flag ship Mustang and is the fastest and most track oriented version ever to come to these shores, posting times quicker than both the iconic Bullitt and Mach 1 versions of the S550. The all new fourth-generation 5.0-litre V8 Coyote unit has been upgraded with an innovative dual air intake box, dual throttle body design and revised camshafts. This enhances the air flow rate into the engine, reducing induction losses and improving efficiency. Its full 450HP is delivered to the rear wheels and there is now a sport limited-slip differential for increased traction as standard, and this coupled with a new-generation MagneRide system, which now also incorporates a new pothole mitigation feature, means the driving experience is truly special on either the British A/B roads or full throttle around a track This new upgraded version still continually monitors the road conditions and driver intention, and adjusts the dampers up to one thousand times per second by varying the properties of their internal fluid under electronic control. As well as both the engine and suspension upgrades the all new Dark Horse now has High-spec Brembo 6-piston brake calipers and 15"" ventilated discs at the front, with 4-piston rear calipers. Brake ducts channels for extra cooling air to the brakes for tireless performance even under the pressure of track driving conditions.
