Description
A soft/smooth action rod ideal for river fishing with nymphs, wet flies but also capable of casting dry flies. It will not cast beyond the horizon but the fish are never that far away in a river anyway.
The smooth action makes it a pleasure to cast and land even small fish.
The longish length makes easy work of picking a long line up when fishing downstream spiders on the swing. It also keeps line off the water when Euro style nymphing to enable drag free presentation.
The rod has been seen little use because I have (too many) other river rods, it has not abused.
The handle is cork cigar shape with an uplocking nickel silver seat and a cork fighting butt.
