Slender and powerful, this Shimano fishing rod's blank is made from XT60 carbon and is designed to give you everything you need, right when you need it. This Shimano carp rod boast an enhanced playing power, with plenty of power in the butt section of the rod allowing you to cast at distance even with PVA bags, but enough flexibility in the tip section to cushion long powerful runs from carp.
Built to a proven manufacturing process, these Shimano carp rods are finished with Shimano stainless steel guides for durability and improved longevity. Another bonus of these guides is that they will protect the line from damage.

The TX 2 carp rod range is based on proven manufacturing processes, using XT60 carbon. This results in very slim and powerful blanks which will enhance the casting performance. Although the blanks are very powerful, the TX 2 does not compromise on playing action in the tip- and middle section, required for maintaining a secure hook-hold. The TX 2 series have been developed with a plastic line clip.
