Description
Selection of Very High Quality Japanese Koi - individually priced.
Doitsu Kohaku
Nice strong colour and great full body pattern. This is what is often described as a ‘big fish’ pattern as it will look amazing when this fish reaches adulthood. The red pattern is super crisp and sharp. Excellent body shape and already growing fast. Breeder is Japanese Koi Farm Shinoda, which is well known for it’s gosanke koi varieties. Size approximately 35cm
Beni Kikokuryu Dragon Koi
Another fish with an excellent crisp pattern. Features to look out for on this fish is the clean deep red beni, which is framed by deep black sumi (black markings). The black pattern will continue to develop in the white area of the fish over the next few years, something this variety is famed for. This fish comes from Aoki Koi farm, which produces some amazing and unique metallic doitsu varieties.
Size approximately 25cm
Goshiki
This Goshiki has the much sought after “floating beni” style of red pattern. This is where the red markings form distinct, vibrant, clean looking patches that almost appear as if they are ‘floating’. As the fish matures the background grey will darken further, often turning black, which creates a really dramatic looking fish. This is from Aoki Koi farm.
Size approximately 25cm.
