VINTAGE SECURITY ERA 970L HEAVY DUTY IRON HASP & STAPLE WITH LEGGE PADLOCK 2 KEYS

Description

This vintage solid iron heavy duty SECURITY ERA 970L hasp and staple fitting is in sound working condition. The exterior shows signs of previous use, weathering and rust (see photos), but the fitting is in very usable condition and includes a good strong LEGGE padlock.

It has been used to secure a shed for over 30 years. Included are the original bolts, nuts and screws for the fittings. The three bolts have flush sunken heads designed to prevent an intruder from removing them from the staple whilst attached to the outside of the protected property. We reinforced the inside of the shed with wooden blocks on the reverse of the fitting to make it as secure as possible.
