Charles is an amazing English tutor. He has been my tutor for the past 3 years. He’s patient, kind, and really knows how to make lessons clear and enjoyable. Every session feels comfortable, and he always makes sure to focus on exactly what I need to improve. He always structures the lesson to my preference and helps to build on my weaknesses. I went from a predicted grade of 3 in year 8 to a predicted grade of 8 in year 11. I genuinely looked forward to our lessons and always finished feeling motivated. I can't recommend Charles highly enough!!!

Charles Snyman has now taught 2 of my children and I couldn’t recommend him enough. My first child went from 3-4 in GCSE English to 7-8 grades in the space of a year and my daughter has seen exponential improvements in her English. Really and truly the best English teacher we’ve ever had and would really recommend him to everyone.

Charles is an absolutely brilliant teacher. I found him immediately when our son got 2/3 for his English (mock) exams at the end of year 10 telling us that "he can't study for English GCSEs as there is no way to learn anything..." Super-frustrating but understandable if you not a fan of the subject. Luckily, we found Charles. Although Charles didn't manage to convince our son that English can be interesting, he got him ready for the GSCEs and managed to increase his confidence and mock exams results in a very short time. We are very grateful Charles was teaching our son and awaiting the GCSEs results eagerly. So to sum up - paying for lessons with Charles was money well spent, there is no doubt about it, and I'm planning to hire him again when our younger child reaches the GCSEs stage.
