I am an outstanding,experienced teacher who specialises in Maths and English. I offer both Primary and Secondary tuition. I also have a very small, select group of teachers who work alongside me that I have worked with personally or have come highly recommended to me. This has enabled me to diversify and provide all students with a specialist teacher for the subject that are struggling with.

I am currently working as a full time tutor and I am up-to-date with the changes and expectations imposed by the Department for Education. I studied at Middlesex University and hold a BA in Primary Education (age range 3-11) graduating with a first class degree. I am a native English speaker and fully DBS checked.

I have been working in education since 2010 and I have previously taught Nursery, reception and Years 1,2,3,5 and 6. I have worked and continue to work with SEN children. I have worked across a range of inner London state schools and private schools which I feel benefits me as I have a wealth of experience in different settings.

I teach in a calm, positive manner, regularly use praise for deserved effort or achievement and have a secure understanding of the National Curriculum. Learning is child-centred, age-appropriate and involves a mixture of practical activities and formal recording on paper.
Each session is tailor-made. Whether the child is already a proficient learner who needs challenging and extending, or a learner who needs a boost of confidence, gentle nurturing and revision of the basics, I design an individual program to suit him or her.

I like building a dialogue with my pupils which allows them to enjoy and take ownership of their learning. Once targets are identified, I put together lesson plans that will cater to my pupil's needs and learning style. At the core of my practice lies keeping my pupils engaged and passionate about learning. I succeed in this through the use of hands on resources (i.e.numicom,maths mats,word banks,puzzles), varying tasks, scaffolding and discussion.

My prices for individual tutoring or grouped tutoring can be discussed during the consultation.

Online sessions are also provided for individuals or groups of up to 6.
