I'm Kara, a UK-qualified teacher and primary literacy specialist. With a BA in English, an MA in Early Years Education, and 24 years of classroom experience, I help children build strong reading foundations through engaging and effective phonics teaching.
My Services
Mini-Group Phonics Tuition (Ages 4–7)
Fun and focused online groups for Reception and KS1 children. Each group has a maximum of four children, matched by age, ability and learning needs. Lessons are game-based, imaginative and designed to boost confidence while improving key phonics skills.
1:1 Literacy Support for Struggling Readers (Ages 7–11)
Tailored support for children with dyslexia or ongoing difficulties with phonics, reading or spelling. My one-to-one sessions use a structured, multisensory approach that follows the British National Curriculum and supports long-term reading success.
