Private English tutor in Edinburgh city centre + online for all ages *Nat 5 and Higher slots*

Description

I am an experienced one-to-one English tutor based in Edinburgh. I have been tutoring for nine years, including running tutorials for university undergraduate students at The University of Edinburgh and groups of international students at St. Andrews College Language School at Napier University.

Prior to this I have taught English, maths and science at two schools in India. I hold an M.Sc. in Mind, Language and Embodied Cognition, a BA in Philosophical Studies and a CELTA qualification from the Centre of English Studies.

I tutor students studying for English, RMPS, philosophy and psychology following the SQA syllabuses for Nat. 5 and Higher as well as Edexcel and AQA GCSE and IGCSE qualifications. I also tutor younger years in reading, writing and spelling.

I provide essay assistance for university students. I have prepared international students for their IELTS and B2 exams. I offer assistance with business English and advanced English. I am also an experienced proofreader, editor and writer and can help with corporate writing, novels, academic work and articles.

I am a member of the PVG scheme by Disclosure Scotland with safeguarding certification from the British Council and public liability insurance. I am also a qualified first aider (including mental health first aid), yoga instructor and CNHC registered yoga therapist. For any documents, please ask me.

I can travel out to your home (location dependent), meet in a local library/cafe or do the lessons online. Please give me a call to arrange an introductory session.
