Description
We are looking for a practically minded and driven individual to be trained by an experienced commissioning engineer. Reporting to the Commissioning Manager your key responsibilities as a trainee commissioning engineer will include:
Commissioning of air & water systems PreCommissioning of heating and chilled water systems Interpretation of drawings, estimating work requirements from drawings Production of method statements, test records and validation reports Cleaning and disinfecting of coldwater storage tanks. Disinfections of both hot and coldwater systems. TMV servicing and failsafe testing. Hygiene sampling and onsite analysis. Ductwork Cleaning. This work will also involve travelling and working across the UK.
Training:
Onsite training will be provided by our lead commissioning engineer who you create a two–man team with. They will be able to show you every aspect of the job and supervise your on–site development as well as formal training and qualification. You will learn how to commission both air & water systems, to validate them, balance them and sign–off ready for use.
You will also receive recognized training opportunities including confined space safety qualification, CSCS card, CITB, asbestos awareness, legionella awareness, working at height and much more.
