Multi-Skilled Engineering Technician / Shift Technician

Location: Market Drayton - Butter Plant

Contract Type: Permanent, 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights, 7am-7pm)

Salary: GBP54,000 per annum

Due to an exciting internal promotion into a Maintenance Excellence Manager role, we're now looking for two Multi-Skilled Engineering Technicians to join our high-performing team at the Market Drayton Butter Plant. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Engineering Technicians or Shift Technicians to step into a role where they can make a real impact in a fast-paced, innovative manufacturing environment.

Completion of a recognised engineering apprenticeshipProven experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer, Engineering Technician, or Shift Technician in a fast-moving manufacturing or logistics settingStrong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills (HNC level or equivalent)Familiarity with automation and CI tools is a plusSolid background in maintenance and reliability engineeringKey responsibilities of the Engineering Technician role:

Deliver high-quality scheduled and reactive maintenance across the siteRapidly diagnose faults and restore equipment to serviceIdentify root causes and implement cost-effective solutionsContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and FMEA activitiesWork with electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical drawingsApply basic automation skills for fault finding and resolutionPlease note: This is a Shift Technician role working a 4 on 4 off pattern, alternating between days and nights.
