Description

Job Title Senior Electrical Engineer

Location Stirling, England

Salary GBP - per annum plus car/allowance etc

Work Opportunity Permanent

Introduction

We're growing, and we're on the lookout for a Senior Electrical Engineer who's not just technically sharp, but excited to help shape the future of energy infrastructure. If you've got deep experience in Extra High Voltage (EHV) systems and a strong background in Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (EICA) design, we want to hear from you.

What you'll be doing?

You'll be hands-on from concept through to commissioning. Here's what your day-to-day might look like:

Designing electrical systems across lighting, power distribution, and control systems

Producing clear, detailed drawings and layouts using tools like AutoCAD, ETAP, or Revit

Collaborating with engineers, PMs, and clients to bring complex projects to life

Visiting sites to assess existing infrastructure and recommend improvements

Running tests, analysing data, and ensuring designs translate seamlessly into real-world performance

Supporting junior team members including managing a Graduate Engineer and Electrical Design Engineer

Staying on top of the latest tech and regulations to keep us ahead of the curve

Producing accurate project docs from BoMs to cost estimates

What we're looking for?

You don't need to tick every box, but here's what would make you a great fit:

Solid experience in electrical design ideally in energy or infrastructure

A working knowledge of EHV systems and a passion for EICA

Comfortable with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, etc.)

Strong understanding of UK electrical codes and compliance standards

A collaborative mindset - you're just as comfortable leading as you are getting stuck in

What's my next step?

If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you - please click the apply button and we'll be in touch shortly to discuss next steps.
