Project Manager

Description

Our client, a leading consultancy delivering across multiple AMP8 water sector frameworks, is currently seeking experienced Project Managers to join their team. These roles are contract positions, ideal for professionals with civil engineering skills and a strong background in the water industry. The position offers a hybrid work environment and focuses primarily on non–infrastructure wastewater projects, with some infrastructure exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing the delivery of non–infrastructure wastewater projectsManaging project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure timely and within–scope completionWorking closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure alignment with goalsCoordinating with internal teams and external partners to facilitate project deliveryPreparing and maintaining detailed project plans, reports, and documentationMitigating project risks and resolving any issues that may arise during the project lifecycleEnsuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standardsMonitoring project progress and providing updates to senior management and clients

Job Requirements:

Experience in civil engineering, particularly within the water sectorStrong stakeholder management skillsProficiency in overseeing and delivering wastewater projectsExcellent project management skills, including planning, execution, and risk managementStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a hybrid working environmentUnderstanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in the water industryRelevant degree or equivalent qualification in civil engineering or related fields
