Description

Position: Project Manager – Water

Location: Testwood

Salary: Up to GBP70,000 per annum + package

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in water infrastructure? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading Tier 1 contractor working on Southern Water Framework. You will take full ownership of projects from design through to commissioning and handover, delivering critical infrastructure safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Role Responsibilities:

Lead the safe and efficient delivery of water projects, managing multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.

Ensure all project activities are delivered in accordance with the Business Management System (BMS).

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, partners, and suppliers.

Oversee planning, design management, construction, commissioning, and handover phases.

Drive project performance to achieve key milestones within budget and programme.

Manage commercial aspects proactively, providing accurate forecasts and financial reports.

Ensure health, safety, environmental and quality standards are fully embedded throughout the project lifecycle.

Actively promote continuous improvement, professional development, and industry best practice.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience delivering complex water or infrastructure projects from conception to completion.

Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Degree (or equivalent) in construction, engineering, or commercial discipline.

Recognised Project Management Qualification (e.g., APM PMQ).

In–depth knowledge of NEC (or similar) forms of contract and commercial principles.

Demonstrable experience with Health & Safety, CDM regulations, and Risk Management.

Desirable:

Experience with water and wastewater treatment schemes.

Chartered membership of a relevant professional institution.

NEC Project Manager Accreditation.
