Description

Our client, a leading provider in the water sector, is currently seeking a Project Manager with civil engineering expertise to join their team on a contract basis. This role will be based across Chipping Norton and Pangbourne, focusing on managing key water infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of civil engineering projects within the water sectorEnsuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budgetCoordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to secure resources and manage project schedulesMonitoring project progress and conducting regular status meetingsIdentifying project risks and implementing mitigation strategiesPreparing and presenting project documentation, including reports, schedules, and risk assessmentsMaintaining compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standardsFostering strong client relationships through effective communication and customer service

Job Requirements:

Experience in project management within the civil engineering sectorStrong knowledge of water infrastructure projectsExcellent organisational and leadership skillsProficiency in project management tools and softwareAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExceptional problem–solving and decision–making abilitiesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsRelevant engineering or project management qualifications
