Mobile Fitter – Bristol
Up to 45,000 Basic Salary Field–Based Full–Time Permanent
Tired of being stuck in the same yard every day? Ready to hit the road and be trusted to do the job right?
We're hiring an experienced Mobile Fitter to join a growing team based out of the Bristol depot – servicing a modern fleet of Telescopic Handlers at customer sites across the region.
If you take pride in solving problems fast and getting machines back to work, this is your kind of role.
What You'll Be Doing:
Carrying out on–site diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs
Working independently across multiple customer locations
Maintaining telehandlers to the highest standard
Accurately reporting jobs using a tablet–based system
Managing your own workload and parts stock
What We're Looking For:
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant Maintenance (or equivalent)
Strong background as a plant or diesel mechanic
UK driving licence (max 3 penalty points)
Confidence working independently on–site
Excellent communication and problem–solving skills
Good spoken and written English
Bonus If You Have:
A valid CSCS card
Familiarity with telehandlers, site machinery, or similar plant
