Maintenance Plumber

Stride Recruitment are excited to present an excellent opportunity for experienced Maintenance Plumber to join our long-standing Building Service Provider Clients in Swindon, Whiltshire with a Mechanical or Plumbing background in maintenance.

Main Purpose:

The Maintenance plumber will be required to make sure they are completing PPM and reactive maintenance breakdowns checks to anything from water treatment to moving, to completing fire alarm / ahu and remedial work to full mechanical shutdowns across the hospital.

Main Accountabilities:

To complete PPM and remedial work. To have a can do approach to your work ethos. Be able to work within a small maintenance team, consisting of a mechanical & electrical shift engineers and a semi-skilled shift engineer (plus a full day team of engineering and support staff) What you will need for the role:

Skills, Knowledge and Competencies required. Good all round technical ability and a working knowledge of a wide variety of systems required, knowledge of building maintenance preferred, but not essential. Must be fully qualified in Mechanical with experience of Commercial / Hospital buildings. Must be fully qualified Mechanical engineer or Plumber City and Guilds. Good communication skills, both written and oral. The ability to multi-task and be methodical. A pro-active approach to problem solving. Temporary - Permanent or Long Term contract.
