Description
We're currently looking to hire three experienced Highways Electricians to support multiple live and upcoming infrastructure schemes across the UK. If you've got a strong background in highways electrical works, particularly technology installations, and hold a valid Testing & Inspection ticket, we want to hear from you.
Works will be from Southern part of M25 up as far as Manchester and Newcastle so the ability to travel and stay away is required!
Role Overview
You'll be working on the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of highway electrical and technology systems including:
Motorway communications equipment
Traffic signal infrastructure
VMS, CCTV, and emergency roadside equipment
Electrical containment and cabling
Testing, inspection, and certification
This is a hands–on role suited to qualified electricians confident working in live highway environments, often under tight deadlines and to high standards.
What You'll Need
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation
2391 or 2394/2395 (Testing & Inspection) – Essential
ECS or JIB card (Highways/Approved Electrician)
Experience in highway technology works or trunk road installations
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
Strong H&S awareness
Flexibility to travel and stay away as required
Bonus if you have:
G39 Certification
HERS registration
