Our client is seeking a General Foreman to join their team and manage on–site activities for projects on a contract basis. This position is crucial for ensuring that highway activities meet exacting quality standards and are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all on–site groundwork activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standardsAssist with site preparation, site setup, and equipmentManage roadworks being completed by heavy equipment and machineryTravel to various sites to assist and manage works being deliveredEnsure compliance with health and safety regulationsCommunicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other stakeholdersSolve on–site issues and provide leadership to the team

Job Requirements:

Strong understanding of highway construction and maintenance processesProven ability to manage and oversee groundwork activitiesKnowledge of health and safety regulations specific to construction and highwaysExcellent communication and leadership skillsAbility to solve problems efficiently on–siteWillingness to travel to various project sites as needed
