About the Role

Morson Talent is proud to be partnering with a global leader in the renewable energy sector to recruit an experienced Wind Farm Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company at the forefront of the clean energy transition, with an expanding portfolio of onshore and offshore wind projects across the UK and beyond.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of wind turbine assets, working closely with maintenance teams, contractors, and OEM specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on wind turbines

Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues

Monitor performance data and identify opportunities to optimise output

Support commissioning activities for new turbines and upgrades

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations

Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and technical documentation

Liaise with suppliers and OEMs to source parts and technical support

About You

HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering (or equivalent experience)

Proven hands–on wind turbine maintenance and troubleshooting experience

Strong understanding of turbine systems, SCADA, and condition monitoring tools

GWO certification (Working at Height, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling) desirable

HV switching experience advantageous

Full UK driving licence and ability to work at heights and in adverse weather conditions
