Design Delivery Manager HV Substations

UK–wide Permanent Remote Working

70–80k + Car Allowance + Bonus + Strong Package

Representing a Leading Power Infrastructure Client

We are looking for a Design Delivery Manager on behalf of a top–tier engineering consultancy driving major substation and power distribution projects across the UK (11kV / 132kV).

You'll be the key link between the design team, subcontractors, construction partners, and client stakeholders making sure everything runs smoothly from design through to delivery. This is about owning the process, de–risking delivery, and embedding buildability into every project.

You'll lead technical interfaces, manage design reviews (HAZOP, IDR), oversee temporary works design, and ensure designs stay compliant, coordinated, and constructible. Your focus: keep quality high, risks low, and timelines tight.

You'll bring a civil or structural engineering background, strong experience in multi–stakeholder design coordination, and a solid grasp of CDM, compliance, and on–site delivery. Chartered status is a plus, as is knowledge of AutoCAD, BIM, and Primavera.
