Profile Deputy Engineering Lead

Job Role Deputy Engineering Lead

Reporting the Head of Design and Analysis the Deputy Engineering Lead shall, be responsible for leading a design and analysis team. The team shall meet agreed milestones and deliverables on time, on cost and on quality.

Duties Deputy Engineering Lead

• Lead a team of engineers to meet agreed project milestones and deliverables, including, technical, financial and scheduling of the team's activities

• Promote professional and personal development of all the team member through the professional development review process

• Ensure a 'fit for purpose' technical solution is developed; ensuring compliance to processes & procedures

• Compile Work Package Specifications as required to support delivery of the team's objectives

• Monitor offload activities adherence to schedule and costs while identify any associated risks

Experience/Qualifications Deputy Engineering Lead

• Proven experience managing a team of engineering professionals and their development

• Experience in Project Management

• General understanding of finance

Candidates who are currently a Design Engineer, Senior Design Engineer, Project Engineer, Principal Engineer, Chief Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Development Engineer, R&D Engineer, NPI Engineer and Engineering Manager could be suitable for this role.
