The Role

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced engineer to join an expanding team in Bristol as the Civils Team Lead. This is a great opportunity to join the business help guide and nurture the Civil Engineering department. The position will suit an ambitious Senior or Principal looking to take the step into a more managerial role.

Responsibilities

Liaising concisely with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders, attending client meetings and site visits Managing the production of technical project details and reports in line with standard requirements, including drawings and calculations as applicable. Delegating as appropriate. Mentoring and nurturing your team of civil engineers and technicians Maintain exacting standards across all outputs ensuring accuracy and appropriate presentation Getting involved and hands–on in technical design as required Requirements Bachelor s Degree or Masters in Structural or Civil Engineering 6+ years of industry/sector experience preferable Chartered or nearing chartership Strong knowledge of civil engineering and development infrastructure Be sectional agreement conversant (S38 S278 etc.) Experience in Civils3D, AutoCAD, MicroDrainage, Autotrack, and/or Causeway etc Excellent report writing and communication skills Be based in Bristol or willing to commute What s in it for you?
