Civil Design Engineers

Description

Our client, a leading consultancy in the water sector, is currently seeking experienced Civil Design Engineers for a contract opportunity starting as soon as possible. This is a long–term contract role, working inside IR35, with a competitive rate offered. The role is focused on delivering exceptional civil design solutions within the water sector, specifically in non–infrastructure and some infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing detailed civil design solutions for a range of water sector projectsCollaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high–quality engineering designsProviding technical expertise to ensure designs meet project requirements and industry standardsParticipating in project meetings and liaising with clients and stakeholdersContributing to the successful delivery of frameworks and capital investment programmesEnsuring compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulationsDocumenting design processes and preparing detailed reportsSupporting project delivery from concept through to completion

Job Requirements:

Experience in civil design engineering, preferably within the water sectorStrong technical design skills and understanding of design principlesExperience with non–infrastructure projects, with some exposure to infrastructure projectsAbility to work collaboratively with clients and multiple framework delivery partnersExcellent problem–solving abilities and attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skillsRelevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
