Aluminium Door Fabricator

General Description

We are currently recruiting an Aluminium Door Fabricator to work for a well–established company in the Gloucester area.

We are looking for a candidate who has previous experience of working in a similar role.

Role Responsibilities

Fabrication of Aluminium windows / doors: This includes tasks like cutting, prepping, and assembling aluminum profiles, as well as installing fixings, gears, and mechanisms.

Reading and interpreting technical drawings: Fabricators need to understand specifications and dimensions to ensure accurate production.

Using hand and power tools: A variety of tools are used to shape and assemble the aluminum components.

General assembly work: This may involve fitting glass, hardware, and other components.

Following safety procedures: Maintaining a safe work environment is crucial in any fabrication role.

Required Skills

Experience in aluminum fabrication: This includes knowledge of aluminum profiles, fabrication techniques, and common issues.

Experience with hand and power tools: A solid understanding of how to use various tools safely and effectively.

Knowledge of window and door products: Understanding different types of doors and their components is important.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings: This is essential for accurate fabrication.

Strong attention to detail: Ensuring high–quality workmanship is critical in this role.

Good communication and teamwork skills: Fabricators often work as part of a team and need to communicate effectively.

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

The salary is experience dependent ranging from 27,000 to 31,000 per year.
