About the Role

We are seeking a Wiring Cell Team Leader in St. Helens – leading a skilled wiring team, overseeing assembly and wiring of control panels, and ensuring high standards in cost, quality, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

*

Lead a wiring team, reporting to the Production Manager and managing team performance.

*

Achieve Cost, Quality and Delivery KPIs for the Wiring Cell Team.

*

Ensure wiring hours targets are met, remedials are minimised, and products are delivered on time.

*

Allocate work to support the manufacturing programme efficiently.

*

Maintain all relevant HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards within the wiring cell.

*

Implement Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing practices across the cell.

*

Liaise with Production, Engineering teams, and other stakeholders to support KPI achievement.

*

Participate in assembly and wiring activities alongside the team when required.

What We’re Looking For

*

Time-served Electrical Apprentice with proven experience in manufacturing.

* Hands-on experience in assembly and wiring of control panels and equipment.

* Experience as a working Manufacturing Team Leader, overseeing a technical team.

*

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles.

*

Skilled at interfacing between Production and Engineering teams to deliver results.
