Interim Snr. Financial Data Analyst (ACCESS)

Choralis Consulting have instructions to recruit an Interim Commercial Financial Data Analyst.

The Company:- Established over 20 years ago as a joint venture between two corporates they are one of the top 3 businesses in their sector. Corporate h/o is at Windsor, Berks.

The Role: This is a hybrid role covering two distinct areas within the FP&A team.

The commercial role: is a combination of running regular analysis and ad hoc trading and performance reports (sales, margins pricing). Manage key cost areas, liaise with cost centre managers and analyse variances, gathering relevant data on business performance and draw meaningful analysis and conclusions to allow stakeholders to make informed decisions.

The MI data function role: is to produce regular MI reports that support the Sales and Product teams with understanding data findings and clearly interpret and communicate findings to allow greater data transparency and understanding of the numbers. Producing data verification and analysis to support the two teams.

The systems used are MS ACCESS, Power BI, SQ and Excel and candidates with an understanding and experience of ACCESS is very desirable.

The person:- graduate, snr. data analyst with a strong financial/commercial background or a snr. finance business analyst comfortable drawing down information from MS ACCESS. With strong Power BI and Excel skills, (pivot tables, Xlookup and other similar data look ups). Strong investigatory and problem solving skills,comfortable understanding, interpreting and communicating data findings so stakeholders have a clearer understanding of business performance. Thorough, detail oriented, able to effectively prioritise competing deliverables -This role is Hybrid 3 days at home, 2 days in the Windsor office.(car driver useful)
