Description

I'm selling most of my keyboard collection. Please see my other listings.

This is a beautiful piece of design. the colours of the various buttons are a delight to behold. This was an early experiment in Vector synths (see joystick). Vector synthesis (blending of up to four voices via a joy stick) was invented at Sequential Circuits by Chris Meyer under the ownership of Dave Smith (later to form Dave Smith Instruments after Yamaha Bought Sequential Circuits and all its technology). This is a kids toy so the VS isn't that amazing, but its still a great little keyboard/psudo syth. It can also be used as a keyboard to control a DAW using MIDI, and as I said, it's beautiful to look at. Battery door is missing, but I run it on mains power. Battery doors can be bought on eBay, But I didn't bother. If it doesn't sell 'll mount it on the wall as industrial?consumer art, when I move house ( the reason I'm selling so much stuff; downsizing, etc). Oh, it has various drums and rhythms too, see blue buttons below keys. Its also AWM powered (advanced wave memory). According to
YouTubers, this is apparently a big deal, better voices, etc. AWM is not that common among Yamahas PSS and early PSR models. Power supply included.
