Description
A genuine fully working ARP Axxe (late 1970's) for the classic ARP analog synthesizer sound.
This is a later version of the Axxe with the black and orange design and the PPC (Proportional Pitch Control) controls.
* Single VCO (sawtooth, square/pulse with PWM from the LFO and/or ADSR generator)
* 24 dB/octave VCF with modulation from the LFO and/or ADSR generator
* VCA
* LFO (sine, rectangular and random S/H from the noise source)
* Glide/portamento
Rear connections:
* CV/gate/trigger in/out
* Audio high/low out
* External audio input
* Pedal input
It's been recently renovated and is in full working order (see the demonstration video).
Bear in mind this is an old piece of kit; although the switches and sliders have all been cleaned and lubricated there are a couple of sliders (VCA Gain & Sawtooth VCO) that have some noise spots, and a couple of them are repaired. You can apparently get new sliders on Ebay if you want to replace them (it's easy to work on internally if you're OK with a soldering iron).
