Gtech eScent 27.5" Electric E-bike Mountain Bike + Hornit 140db horn + Rechargable Lights mtb

Description

Up for sale is a Gtech eScent electric Mountain bike. It is in good overall condition, with a few scuff marks here and there as expected with the age. Comes with a number of nice extras including horn and lights, discussed below.

It is all stock, except for the upgraded DMR pedals, and comes with the original Gtech charger.

Brakes and gears are all working well, and the electric motor is still purring along when you pedal.

The tyres have lots of tread left, so nothing to really do on it aside from getting some good use out of it!

BATTERY:
The battery life is still good, and charges up to 99%. I took it for a 13 mile ride today on the MAX setting - this included a number of hills. By the time I had finished I was left with 34% percent battery.
The battery On/Off switch is quite temperamental unfortunately, a very common issue on these batteries. Most of the time it does not work, but there are one or two quick ways around this.
You can wake it up by either lifting the back and spinning it backwards, or popping it on the charger dock briefly will also wake it up.
The switch can be repaired for around £30 - if you search on Ebay for "Gtech Bike battery REPAIR SERVICE for ON OFF Button Only" you will see a Ebay listing .
Didn't bother me enough to warrant replacing, especially with the easy workarounds listed above.

EXTRAS:
Extras include the Hornit 140db horn (£30 RRP). This is a bit scuffed on the top, but is still working as it should. This horn is loud, and is designed to be used in traffic to alert cars of your presence.
It can be used to give pedestrians a good scare, not that I would encourage such behaviour :)

Front and rear lights are also included.
The front light is a Moon LX360 (£60 RRP). Nice and bright, rechargeable.
The rear light is a Lezyne KTV (£25 RRP). Does the job, also rechargeable.

It has a side stand, I think this is an AKS-530 RS.

And lastly there is a Z'efal Spring water bottle holder.
