Description
I’ve listed my Rockrider as spares or repair as it has an electrical fault. It tends to cut off the display and power above 16mph which may or may not recover when the speed drops down around 15mph. If it doesn’t recover by itself it resets every time when switched back on again and then works normally once more until it reaches 16mph. The motor is noisier than normal and the Decathlon mechanic thinks this could be the problem and would like to replace it. If the fault is not the motor then it could be the torque sensor. As I have owned the bike from new since 2019 I have decided to replace the bike. The electrics were upgraded by Decathlon approx. 2 years ago and are to Version 3 which I believe is the latest version. The pedals are also a bit creaky but they could easily and cheaply be replaced. The battery seems sound and this sale includes the charger and 2 keys.
