Ducati, MONSTER, 2013, 696 (cc) Stealth Black

Description

I bought the Monster primarily because I wanted to Batman, but mainly due to a hiatus of 25 years+ from riding, so I wanted to ease myself gently back into the saddle... Needless to say, it was like riding a bike!
Now I have my eye set firmly on a 1000cc, so sadly the Monster must be set free.

She has only covered 5960 miles (this may rise slightly, as I am trying to enjoy the sun locally, when it shines) and one previous owner. He bought it for just over £8100, which included a Datatag microchip, R&G tail tidy, Termignoni carbon fibre exhaust kit, (that sounds phenomenal, comes with bafflers for those who are a little more conservative!) and a Meta alarm immobiliser (which really does help push down the price of insurance). The previous owner then found another hobby, so didn't ride, hence the low mileage.

I have not had it long, but have enjoyed it. For peace of mind I am due to take it to my mechanic to have a new chain and have the fork seals redone. However, I am willing to subtract this cost from the asking price if a sale occurs sooner. I have a comprehensive vehicle check as well as the V5 (in my name), that I am.happy to show at the time of viewing.

The bike has been serviced a while back, but again my mechanic advised that it looks and sounds good, the oil is clear and advised to ride out the season and service it next year. The MOT ends 22nd April 2026, and the bike has had two new Pirelli Rosso iii tyres (less than 100 miles with them on) and a new battery, with an attachment for a trickle charger.

It is a lovely bike, It growls, but is comfortable, it is quick and responsive, and the riding position is great.
It does have a few age related marks that I have tried to show. This is a genuine sale, so please, no ridiculous offers or discussions about swapping, I have already seen the bike I want.

I have priced her to sell, as there are others with higher mileage for a lot more, again this is only so I can get onto a 1000cc before the weather changes.

Unfortunately no test rides, but I can show cold starts for those genuinely interested, I just don’t have a video of my doing so yet.
