Description
Rare Yamaha Tour Custom configuration air seal Maple shell in incredible Ocean Blue. I've looked everywhere on the internet and not seen a similar configuration and certainly not many Tour Custom Maples in this colour hence the price.
Bass 18in x 14in
Toms 13in x 10in, 10in x 8in, 8in x 7in all Y.E.S.S Mounts
Snare 14in x 5in
Hardware:
Comes with 3 Yamaha tom arms, Yamaha 3 holed bass drum receiver - all pictured in photo 6. Cymbal stand for 13in tom and snare stand are not included. I have a couple of lighter generic stands and clamps for the 13in at £15 elsewhere (stand and clamp) if you need them.
I bought this with the intention of using it at smaller gigs but they've been fewer than I anticipated so as it's not getting the use it deserves, it's up for sale. I did use it for a couple of larger scale gigs for quicker set up and space saving when transporting which was a bonus.
If I didn't like splitting kits I'd keep the snare as it's very crisp and bright. The rest of the kit sounds amazing – the 18in bass drum still packs a punch!
The colour looks vibrant bright blue in the photos but is more a darker blue with a slightly green hue. Seemed to change colour under different lights at gigs! (If you look on Reverb for the item .../item/76776635-yamaha-tour-custom-shell-pack-in-blue you'll see it differently.
Condition:
There are some very light dinks on the 13in, some rubs and scratches on the bass hoop from the pedal shown in the photos but otherwise excellent condition. New unplayed heads have been fitted.
Pick up welcome and will deliver in NW for fuel costs or halfway within reason. :-)
