Description
Tama 14”x11”Starclassic Birch/Bubinga Rack Tom in Dark Mocha Fade (2008 Build). Good condition, gigged and rehearsed with handful of times For mounting on a rack or heavy duty stand, this is a very good sounding tom.
The Birch/Bubinga Starclassic series are very underrated drums in my opinion. Very well rounded, rich low tone, it was definitely a great asset when I played live, using it mainly as a left handed floor tom add-on option to the given in-house kit.
The ‘star-mount’ utilised in it I’d rate highly also, coupled with decent die-cast hoops. The lugs also have rubber spacers between the chrome lugs and the shell (a decent design feature).
If wanted I also have a 13 tom HARDCASE (which fits the drum really well weirdly enough), which I’ve always used with it, that I can throw in for an extra £30. Good condition. Missing one of the black plastic plates on one of the handle connection points, but works fine regardless/ aesthetic related detail only.
