Description

PLEASE NOTE, I AM NOW BASED IN GOSPORT, HAMPSHIRE. GUMTREE DOES NOT ALLOW ME TO CHANGE THE GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION ON EXISTING ADS, SO THE DEFAULT LOCATION WILL REMAIN AS STEVENAGE, WHICH IS NO LONGER THE CASE. ANY COLLECTIONS WILL NOW BE FROM GOSPORT. OBVIOUSLY THIS HAS NO EFFECT ON POSTAL ORDERS.

The Pearl snare drum built to go head-to-head with the Ludwig Supersensitive model
made in the 1970s, it has a parallel action strainer, 10 lugs and die cast hoops.
A far superior drum to the American model.
The hoops have chrome cancer and look a little unsightly. The lugs have another form of chrome cancer, the gritty lumps under the nickel. Shell is chrome plated and is in pretty nice condition.
Internal damper missing - I might have one somewhere.
the snare has lost some strands so the drum will be fitted with a brand new Puresound model which fits this particular drum.
The Jupiter is mistakenly put forward as the drum Stewart Copeland with his band The Police, used on most of their recording. It was in fact the Custom (Deluxe) model, a Pearl version of the Ludwig 400. Copeland has no connection to the parallel actioned Jupiter model.
