Description
For sale, or open to offers of trade for whatever you have, if interested. Made from a wood and wrap Veron model builder aircraft kit (circa 1973) and is 56 inches wide (1.2metres) and similar lenght.
This remote control slow flying model of an Avro 504 1900’s trainer Bi-Plane is in need of TLC to Restore it to operational flying status.
It has a motor (compressed air type, i believe) and does compress when propellor rotated.
It does not have a Remote Control Transmitter hand set or internal control receiver but there is a space for one under the pilot (see belly picture) which attaches to wing control cabling.
The lower wing and struts that connect lower to upper wing are missing.
Hence why advertised as ‘spares or repairs’.
Normal retail price for such a large detailed remote controlled model aircraft when operational is in the region of £350.00to £380.00. There are a few flying examples on eBay at that price. And even one or two as yet ‘unbuilt’ Veron kits at similar prices, hence why
