About the role

As an Account Manager, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients’ customers, supporting those facing financial difficulties and helping to resolve disputes in line with FCA and FOS guidelines. If you’re motivated, customer-focused, and looking to develop your career in a professional and supportive environment, this could be the role for you. Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Acting as the main point of contact for customers, providing professional advice and support

Managing client accounts and handling inbound/outbound calls (20–50 per day)

Assisting customers with financial difficulties and setting up repayment solutions

Following up on missed payments and resetting Direct Debits where required

Preparing and referring cases for legal action, including compiling case bundles

Carrying out general administrative tasks such as photocopying and scanningSkills & Experience

We’d love to hear from you if you can demonstrate:

Proven experience in a customer service, account management, or collection’s role

Knowledge or experience of FCA and FOS frameworks (highly desirable)

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Strong problem-solving ability with a customer-first approach

Confidence handling high-volume calls and managing multiple priorities

IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Excel essential) and CRM systems

A proactive, adaptable attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Legal understanding or a Law/Insurance qualification (desirable, not essential)
