Job Title: PSV Mechanic

Location: North Shields

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Holt Automotive is currently seeking an experienced and reliable PSV Mechanic to join a well-established team based in North Shields. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled technician looking to work with a reputable business that offers stability, progression, and a competitive salary package.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and repairs on PSV (Public Service Vehicles)

Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults

Conduct MOT preparations and safety inspections to DVSA standards

Work on a variety of vehicles including buses and coaches

Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accuratelyRequirements:

Qualified Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent

Proven experience working as a PSV or HGV mechanic

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

Valid UK driving licence (PCV licence advantageous but not essential)

Ability to work independently and as part of a teamWhat We Offer:
