Mechanic / Mot Tester

Salary: Up to £32,000 Basic + Bonus + Overtime (Dependent on Experience & Qualifications)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm | Saturdays on a rota

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanic to join a well-established main dealership in the Barnsley area. Perform servicing, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles

Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults

Conduct MOT tests if qualified (training can be provided if not)

Ensure all work is carried out in line with brand and warranty standards

Maintain a clean, safe, and professional workshop environmentRequirements:

NVQ or IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (Level 2 with strong experience may be considered)

Full UK driving licence

Solid mechanical knowledge across a range of vehicle systems

MOT testing licence desirable (not essential)
