MANE are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Manager for our client based in Belfast.

Role Title: Manufacturing Manager

Reports To: Production Director

Department Overview:

Responsible for delivering high-quality, on-time, and on-cost parts and systems for eFoiler builds. Works closely with Design, Manufacturing Engineering, and Procurement to ensure smooth production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a multi-functional team to deliver composite and metallic assemblies to quality, cost, and schedule targets.

Manage up to 100+ direct labour staff as the team grows.

Develop and implement industrialisation and manufacturing strategies.

Drive a strong Health & Safety culture and ensure safe working practices.

Oversee day-to-day planning, resource allocation, and cross-functional coordination.

Ensure production governance through visual management and daily meetings.

Deliver on KPIs for safety, cost, schedule, and quality.

Champion continuous improvement using Lean and 5S principles.

Support recruitment, development, and performance management of the team.

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications & Experience:

Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline

Proven leadership in manufacturing or assembly environments

Experience in high-growth, low-volume/high-complexity production settings

Strong background in HSE, Lean, and continuous improvement initiatives

Skills & Attributes:

Excellent team leadership and problem-solving abilities

Strong communication, organisation, and time management skills

Ability to read technical drawings and interpret manufacturing data

High level of integrity and professionalism

Proficient in MS Office and production software

Preferred:

Experience with composites manufacturing

Background in start up or new product introduction (NPI) environments

Knowledge of Lean, 5S, and ERP systems
