Description

Laminator – Manufacturing Operator

Location: Hayes, Middlesex

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm (37.5 hrs per week)

Type: Contract / Temp, Full-Time

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Laminator / Laminating Operator to join a busy manufacturing site in Hayes. This is a hands-on role within the laminating section, working in a cleanroom environment to support the production of high-quality laminated sheets used in aerospace and specialist engineering applications.

This role is ideally suited to candidates with solid manufacturing experience who are detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a physically active role.

Key Responsibilities

Operate a continuous coating machine to apply adhesive to foils.

Stack coated foils and prepare laminated sheets in a cleanroom environment.

Load and unload curing presses, using a ball roller table to move heavy loads.

Carry out peel testing to ensure correct peel strength.

Perform guillotining and other associated production tasks.

Maintain excellent housekeeping and follow lean manufacturing techniques (e.g. 5S).

Work in other departments when required to support production needs.

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental policies.

What We’re Looking For

Previous manufacturing or production experience (essential).

Ability to work on your feet throughout the shift.

Physically capable of pushing/pulling heavy loads safely (using provided equipment).

Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Reliable and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
