Involve Recruitment (Midlands) Ltd are working with a busy and growing wholesale Distribution of electrical white goods company for a Delivery Driver

.The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a commitment to providing excellent service while ensuring timely delivery of goods. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction by safely transporting products to various locations.

* Valid driving license with a clean driving record; experience driving larger vehicles (e.g., vans or lorries - 18 TON)

* Category C (Class 2) HGV/LGV license

* Experience of delivering white goods

* Salary - £12.21 to £15ph

* Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

Responsibilities

* Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.

* Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and care during transit.

* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any discrepancies.

* Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.

* Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

* Assist in warehouse duties as required, including inventory management and organisation of stock.
