Customer Service Administrator

Location: London UB2 (Full-Time, Office-Based)

An established automotive repair centre is looking for a proactive and organised Customer Service Administrator to join its busy team. This role is the first point of contact for customers and plays a key part in ensuring a smooth repair process from start to finish. It’s a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

About You

* Previous experience in customer service or administration (automotive/insurance background an advantage).

* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across departments.

* Highly organised and able to manage a busy workload.

* Excellent attention to detail.

* Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

* Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.

* A proactive, team-oriented approach.

The Role

* Handle the administration of incoming insurance claims.

* Book customers in for estimates and repair appointments.

* Provide an excellent level of customer service, ensuring enquiries are dealt with promptly and professionally.

* Operate a bodyshop management system, maintaining accurate claim logs.

* Liaise with customers, insurers, and work providers to give progress updates.

* Assist with vehicle movements (check-in/check-out).

* Respond to emails in a timely manner.

* Take card payments for invoices.

* Support colleagues and carry out other ad-hoc administrative tasks when required.
