Payroll Administrator (Temporary - 2 Months Minimum) £15.38 per hour

Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Birmingham

Temporary Contract – Minimum 2 Months

About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join my clients team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience processing payroll using SAP and will be confident managing all aspects of payroll administration in a fast-paced environment. This role is vital in ensuring the accurate and timely payment of employees while maintaining compliance with relevant policies and legislation.

Key Responsibilities

Process end-to-end payroll using SAP, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Maintain and update employee payroll records, including starters, leavers, and changes to contracts or pay.

Ensure compliance with HMRC and statutory requirements (e.g., tax, NI, pensions).

Respond to payroll queries from employees and management, providing clear and timely resolutions.

Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Assist with the preparation of payroll reports and audits as needed.

Maintain confidentiality and data protection standards at all times.Requirements

Previous experience working as a Payroll Administrator.

Strong working knowledge of SAP payroll processing (essential).

Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

Understanding of UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements.

Strong communication and organisational skills.

Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.Benefits
