Description
Large Morden Persian rug that my father bought from a Middle Eastern dealer 15+ years ago.
I was told by Lindsay Burn & company Auctioneers in Perth that the rug is a Morden take on antique Persian rugs so it won’t have the £1000+ price tag that antique rugs come with.
As it’s an older rug, there is damage to it as you can see in the photos. That damage was there when my father bought it, as he use to say “it has character & a story”.
The rug is 13ft in length and 9ft & 10.5 inches wide so it’s a very big and rather heavy rug so it will be collection only, unless you want to organise a courier yourself.
