Victorian Flame Mahogany 2 Over 3 Chest of Drawers - Turned Legs

Description

A striking large Victorian 2 over three chest of drawers on turned legs and finished in a beautiful flame mahogany veneer. The drawers are pretty substantial, so you can fit a good deal in them.

In fair condition for its age with a few chips to the veneer here and there which I've touched in with a dark wax to make them less noticeable. There's a little beading missing on the edge of one of the drawers. One of the knobs has a chip out of the bottom of it, see pics. The top has some significant marks, perhaps from a heated hair tool, but if you're thinking of putting bits and bobs on top of this you could cover it. The drawers are all in working order. The key is present but only seems to lock the top drawers. The old paper drawer linings which were glued in place are very worn, so it would probably benefit from the new owner putting some lining paper inside and there is a small hole in one drawer where a knot in the wood has come out.
