Part time Housekeeper/Cook near Muswell Park

Description

We are on the hunt for a part-time housekeeper/cook to join a busy household in Muswell Park 25 hours per week.

The family had a nanny for 10 years, however now the children are grown up they are in need of someone to help look after the household and cook a delicious, healthy dinner for the family.

Duties include:

Traditional housekeeping duties
Cleaning the 4 bedroom home, including mopping, dusting, wiping surfaces, vacuuming
Tidying the common areas, plumping cushions, putting washing up away, unloading/loading dishwasher
Running errands, such as grocery shopping, dealing with packages
Sorting out the fridge, removing expired items, flagging items that need replacing
Cooking a healthy, family style meal for the family (one child is vegetarian)
Having a snack prepared for the children when they get back from school
Laundry and ironing
Making beds and changing linen

The family also have a cat and a small dog. Whilst no primary care is involved, you will need to let the dog out and ensure their water bowl is full.

The household is busy with both parents working full-time, therefore the ideal candidate will be someone who can adapt to changing schedules. You must be switched on, proactive and kind-natured.

The days/hours of the role are Monday to Friday, 2pm – 7pm, however this is flexible for the right candidate.

Days/Hours: Monday – Friday, 2pm – 7pm

Rate: £22 – £25 gross per hour
