Description

Our client is seeking a full-time Live-in Housekeeper/Cook to support their newly renovated weekend residence just outside Birmingham. This beautiful country home features 7 bedrooms, and is used primarily at weekends.

Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, and able to maintain a high standard of housekeeping. The role also includes occasional simple cooking and providing light support to the principal’s mother, who lives nearby. A kind and considerate nature is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

General housekeeping: cleaning, tidying, and maintaining order throughout the home
Laundry and ironing
Organising household items and systems
Cooking simple, healthy meals (occasional weekend cooking may be required)
Assisting the principal’s mother with occasional ad hoc tasks
Driving for errands or local support (essential due to location)

Details:

Location: Near Birmingham
Start Date: ASAP
Days: 5 days per week including weekends (weekends off if principals are not visiting)
Accommodation: Private 1-bedroom self-contained flat above the pool house (recently renovated)
