I am a multi-genre Award-winning DJ, I provide a unique, personalised, professional musical experience from the moment your guests enter the reception room and all throughout your event.

I interact with the crowd and create an unforgettable atmosphere on that dance floor with music that reflects your own personal taste and preferences.

I play a diverse range of music genres for all ages. I will certainly have all your guests dancing the night away and talking about your big day for years to come!

I also provide PA systems for rental, microphone, lights, smoke machine and many other items for events.

We had an amazing time with Derrick at the Moreton Hall Community Centre! Very professional and engaging with everyone that came in for the evening’s entertainment. The music was spot on all evening, with a great mix that kept everyone singing and dancing. The karaoke setup was a hit. Derrick, made all the singers feel comfortable and joined in as needed to support and build the atmosphere. Derrick created a lively and fun evening’s entertainment and really knew how to get the crowd involved. Will be booking again soon. Highly recommended for any event!

What a fantastic DJ. Derrick worked brilliantly with the band we had to keep the music flowing all night. A great selection of tunes and managed to keep a multi-generational party on the dance floor. Great set-up and lighting. Hope we can have another party soon so we can use him again.

We had Derrick DJ at our BBQ recently and honestly, he smashed it! The music was on point all night and he carried the party perfectly. We gave him a loose brief and he absolutely nailed the vibe, blending Afrobeats, Amapiano, R&B, and classics in a way that kept everyone dancing. He really knows how to read the crowd and keep the energy flowing. Safe to say we’ve found our DJ and will definitely be booking him again!

We had DJ Derrick for a celebration of life event. We wanted karaoke DJ as that was the wishes. DJ Derrick was fantastic played all songs requested even danced and sang with the Karaoke. Amazing guy polite easy going and just made the night absolutely fantastic. Atmosphere was great and everyone had a fantastic time, he truly made a night to remember. All event attendees felt really relaxed were having a laugh and fun either way DJ Derrick been like one of the family and everyone said he was excellent and fun. DJ Derrick I would recommend highly and look forward to some more future bookings. We wanted happy, bright entertaining and good all rounder in a DJ and Derrick was everything we wished for. Great communicator in our lists of songs, friendly happy and polite and what can I add just a great entertainer that made our night! Excellent. DJ Derrick a wonderful guy and excellent DJ, a must for all events.
